Makers in the Raw started essentially because I am nosy. I love handmade businesses and they all have such great studios, perfect for rummaging through and getting a great story. When I started this project in 2016, I barged my way into the studios of my friends, asked them prying questions and went through their cabinets with reckless abandon.
Now, given the success of the project and how much fun it’s been, I wanted to open it up to people I didn’t know, get their stories and check out their spaces, too. So if you are a Calgarian handmade business, I welcome you to apply to be my next feature.
Some things to note:
- This project is free to participate in!
- You will get copies of the photos I take, which you are free to use as long as you give photo credit to Logee Photography / @logeephoto.
- The photos I give to you are still subject to my standard contract. When you apply, you will receive a copy that you must return signed before your shoot date will be scheduled. It’s nothing scary, I promise! A girl’s gotta protect her IP is all!
